First I want to say what an honor it is and how privileged I feel to officiate such an important day in your lives! The bond that develops between an officiant and couple is very precious, and your ceremony sets the tone of not only your wedding day - but also your marriage. Its important to me to get to know you and your personalities so that I can design a ceremony that is all about who you are.
I have been working with couples for over 14 years, (2000+ weddings) and will always work with you to ensure that your ceremony is meaningful, memorable, unique and crafted especially for you - every wedding is customized!

creatively. Your ceremony should not be "one size fits all, cookie-cutter wedding".
**Please be sure that no matter whom you speak to about officiating your wedding, you check their credentials. INTERNET ORDAINED OFFICIANTS ARE NOT LEGAL IN THE STATE OF NC: The Supreme Court of North Carolina reversed a conviction for bigamy when it held that a marriage solemnized by a Roman Catholic layman who bought a $10.00 mail order certificate giving him “credentials of minister” in the Universal Life Church was not a recognizable marriage under North Carolina law. State v. Lynch, 301 N.C. 479, 272 S.E.2d 349 (1980).
and again: Unfortunately, the NC courts have stated: "online ordination is not recognized as legally qualifying someone to perform marriages in NC, & performing a marriage w/out the proper qualifications is a $200 misdemeanor." The ULC (largest online ordination church in America), is specifically called out as not being able to legally perform marriages in NC, but the case mentions online ordinations in general. Chapter 7. Appellate Rules See: State v. Lynch, 301 N.C. 479, 272 S.E.2d 349 (1980).
To confirm this (1/16/12): I recently received a call from a bride who had wanted a friend to officiate her ceremony, and was going to be ordained over the internet. She had the foresight to call the Register of Deeds. They told her, no, if he got ordained over the internet, he was not legal in the state of NC.

a non-denominational and an interfaith minister, I believe that you

words that do not relate to who you are.
We can include rituals and traditions from your faith, backgrounds and culture.

married by a woman minister made so much sense - because I could
understand the level of emotion and attention to detail that goes into
the planning of the ceremony. I would think this is because almost
every little girl dreams of her wedding from the time she is, like, born!
But
seriously, I do take special care with each and every couple's ceremony
in the details, wording and rituals that can be included. I look
forward to helping you plan yours!
As a "wedding minister" or "wedding officiant" in the Charlotte area, I
spend a lot of time helping each couple plan their wedding ceremony. I
have a pre-meeting ceremony planning packet I email to you before we
get together for our first consultation - which is free of charge.

Then, once I receive a 50% deposit for the ceremony, we begin to craft
a customized ceremony that is yours - and yours alone!
AND - I will never leave you in a lurch! I
get many last minute phone calls from panic-stricken couples whose
minister or officiant backed out at the last minute for one reason or
another.
If, by some chance, I do break a leg (I have
done weddings on crutches!) or have a family emergency, I have several
other ministers that also work with me that I will personally contact foryou before I even call you to tell you I cannot be with you on your
special day. That's only the right thing to do! I take your wedding as
seriously as you do!!

Since joining this organization in 2008, I have been a board member for four years running, have spoken at their meetings and retreats (next date is 5/2012) and can recommend to you just about any wedding need you might have.
